Religious Education
Here at Lyndon Green Junior School we use, 'The Birmingham Agreed Syllabus' for Religious Education. This syllabus provides us with a clear framework for teaching RE in a way that is inclusive, balanced, and engaging for all students. By using this syllabus, we ensure that our children are exposed to a broad range of religious beliefs, worldviews, and moral teachings, helping them develop a deeper understanding and respect for different cultures and traditions. The syllabus promotes critical thinking, reflection, and discussion, encouraging students to explore big questions about life, values, and beliefs. This approach not only broadens their knowledge and understanding but also fosters empathy, tolerance, and open-mindedness—skills that are vital for children growing up in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world.
