PSHE
At our school, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education) is a vital part of our curriculum, supporting the development of the whole child. Through our PSHE programme, we aim to equip pupils with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy and independent lives. Our curriculum covers three core themes: Relationships (including families and friendships, safe relationships, and respecting ourselves and others), Living in the Wider World (such as belonging to a community, media literacy and digital resilience, and money and work), and Health and Wellbeing (focusing on physical and mental health, growing and changing, and keeping safe). These areas help our children become thoughtful, responsible and resilient individuals, both in school and beyond.
