Making Memories

Material - solids, liquids and gases.

A material's state can be solid, liquid or gas.

Materials are made up of lots of little particles. How these particles are arranged determine their shape.

SOLIDS - can hold their own shape unless something happens to them, e.g. cut or broken

LIQUIDS - flow and take the shape of their container

GAS - are usually invisible and spread out to fill up spaces
