Create a space themed word bank. Include lots of words linked to space like orbit, comet, planet. You can use this in your writing later in the week.



Recreate space and read story. E.g. use a torch to read in a dark place. Or maybe read late at night under the stars!

BROKEN : Rock, Paper, Scissors

When Rock stumbles upon the magical Paper, it's love at first sight. But when the wrath of Scissors threatens the well-being of Paper, Rock must stop at nothing to save what he loves most, no matter the cost. "Broken: Rock, Paper, Scissors" is a student animated short film, produced at Ringling College of Art & Design.

Create a diary entry for rock

Use a  A4 piece of paper and mark out a rectangle 12cm by 24cm. You are designing a vegetable patch and need to include the following areas: A carrot zone with a perimeter of 32cm, a pea zone with an area of 12cm squared, a strawberry zone with an area of 20cm squared and a perimeter of 18cm.

Look at the planet information pictures and work through the power point.


You could:


 - create a fact file on the different planets

 - make a model of the solar system with the planets in order

 - create a slide show
