Top tips to making you word search…

First, write your ten words into the big boxes (second table).

Second, write those words onto the little boxes and remember one letter goes into one box (first table).

Third, fill the rest of the boxes with letters (on the first table).

Here is my example.

Writing task:

Watch the video to learn all about apostrophes.

Punctuation: Using apostrophes to show singular & plural possession (KS2)

What will I learn? How apostrophes are used to show that something belongs to someone or something.

Using the pictures below, come up with some sentences that include apostrophes. Remember if you are adding an s the apostrophe goings before, but if the s is already there then the apostrophe goes after.

As a challenge for today, turn one of the pictures into a short story.

Maths task:

Topic task:

You are going to be exploring the continent of South America today. The picture above shows you where you can find the continent of South America on a world map. By the end of the task, you should be able to identify the names and locations of the countries within the continent of South America. Please use the link below to focus on South America in detail.

Key tip: When you are on the website, you can find out more about each country by clicking on the country that you would like to explore.
